BETA Trial software for gDMSS Android app.

Android APP to view live CCTV on your phone , compatable with QVIS,APOLLO,ZEUS,DAHUA dvrs

The big noticeable difference most people find between gDMSS & DMSS – Pro ,

  • On gDMSS it supports sound from the camera channel – if there is sound connected to the camera channel you are viewing – you can also listen to realtime sound at the sametime as viewing the camera – THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE ON DMSS-PRO
  • gDMSS also allows additional pr0gramming of the camera channel including encoding & bit rate – same again not available in DMSS-Pro
  • gDMSS also allows realtime recording of the camera channel direct to storage on Smart Phone – then allows recorded file to be played back at later date using gDMSS APP – this feature not available on DMSS
  • However one noteable feature available on DMSS-Pro & not supported on gDMSS is touch screen control of PTZ cameras – you can operate PTZ cameras just via touch screen on the actual camera picture & not have to use the standard LEFT/RIGHT /UP / DOWN keys like on the gDMSS APP

TECH007 gDMSS Android V2.20 APP Download

New version of Android app for QVIS / DAHUA DVR’S

This download contains the required files so you can upload the app direct from your pc – you will need to unzip the file , then use your phone syncing software / management software to upload the files to your Android handset . Most people should find this striaght forward . This APP allows you to have upto 4 cameras from different DVRs / locations showing at the sametime on your phone , which is the main difference between this & the standard DMSS app which just shows blocks of four cameras from single dvr , also the other main feature is the ability of streaming audio at the sametime - which is also not available on the standard DMSS version . The newer V2.50 has now been available for quite long period without many known bugs , also supported on alot more of the newer Android handsets.

The current V2.60 (also known as DMSS-HD , iDMSS HD, iDMSS HD Pro) – this has been released in last couple of months – March 2012 , unfortunately at the moment this APP is no longer available for FREE download on Google Play APP store or any of the manufacturers websites . In the UK this APP has been realeased in two versions – one for the Smart phones , then seperate APP for Tablet pcs - IPad- Android Pad – and will only work on new QVIS i-Series DVRs — this includes the new  iApollo & iZeus range .

YOU TUBE video showing how to setup gDMSS software app on Android handsets , also how to use the application – sorry no sound , but you should get the overall idea on the app. This is showing version 2.20 however there is now a beta version 2.50 available , not sure of the difference at the moment, but from the demostration it does look alot better than the previous DMSS version & also the I-Phone version.

I will be adding the APP to download , in next couple of days , also the current version for the Blackberry Handsets.
