New I-Series Apollo / Zeus DVRs

New range of QVIS Apollo & Zeus DVRs have just been demonstrated at the IFSEC 2012 CCTV Security conference in Birmingham , as well as new hardware , the Smart phone / tablet pc app has been redesigned and upgraded with additional new features.

The new app has been marketed on Google play store & Apple store as I-Apollo client .

The new App is only supported on new I-Zeus & I-Apollo dvrs , the main new features are the ability to now replay recordings on your Smart phone & automatic notification of alarms direct to your Smart phone or Tablet pc , ie if the dvr see’s motion on a specific camera , the dvr can automatically notify the Smart phone giving user option of logging straight into the APP to display the camera / alarm picture . At moment no information as been released regarding the option of upgrading firmware on existing Zeus / Apollo dvr to the new level or if the APP is backwards compatible with limited features . We will update this information when details become available . Also at moment there seems to be separate APPS for both Smart phone and Tablet PC.

QVIS Mini Eyeball Domes

QVIS have just released a new range of Mini eyeball dome style CCTV Cameras , their unique design make them ideal for places where they require cameras to be non-obtusive. They are not exactly covert , but size & style make them less prominent than normal eyeball domes . Like the standard eyeball domes they are available in various TVL resolutions , at the moment we currently stock 420TVL and 600TVL versions. The dimensions are 59mm diameter with a height of 57mm & weight 160 grams . They come with standard 3.6mm fixed lens so give exactly the same picture as a normal size CCTV camera , they have a robust Vandal proof metal housing , and like all eyeball cameras have a great adjutable viewing range . Great for domestic use , office locations , or even vehicle CCTV -in Taxis or Buses

The dome has all the normal flexible positioning you get from a standard eyeball , you can adjust the direction and angle of the dome to the same extent as a normal eyeball dome , so you get the full left / right & up / down positioning you can achieve with an eyeball camera
